Bloco dos Sonhos/Meeting of Dreams
Bloco is in Brazil the name of a group of musicians and dancers who are walking on the streets with their specific costumes, songs and dances during the carnival or other festivities. Each bloco has his story and identity.

Alain Rivière took some portraits of several people who belong to such a Bloco dos Sonhos during the Art Festival of Garanhuns in July 2008. After shooting he decided to make a photo mounting for each of the portraits. With this process he wants to create some photographic associations inside of each picture. In this way he intends to develop special moods of free relations.

The series is like a suite of portraits from a meeting of dreams. It contents 30 b/w photo mountings in format 30 x 40 cm for to exhibit.
